Ube pandesal 💜

My first recipe is my favorite... ube pandesal with cheese filling. Here's the recipe for 24 pandesal: whole milk, room temperature 1/2 cup warm water 1 cup 1 egg ube flavoring 1 1/2 tsp bread flour 4 cups instant yeast 1 packet sugar 1/2 cup sakt 1/2 tsp unsalted butter, softened 3 tbsns pam for spraying velveeta cheese cut into 1/2 inch cubes plain breadcrumbs 1 cup preparation: 1. in a measuring cup, whisk in the milk, warm water and egg. Whisk in the ube flavoring. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour. instant yeast, sugar and salt. 3. Make a well in the dry ingredients then pour the wet ingredients into the well. Slowly mix together using the stand mixer's paddle attachment for 5 minutes. Add the softened butter to the mixture and continue to knead for 5 minutes. 4. Spray your baking mat with nonstick spraw and continue to knead by hand for 8-10 minutes. 5. Transfer the diugh to a large bowl greased with nonstick spray, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 30-60 minutes, or until it doubles in size. 6. Once the dough has risen, gently punch it with your hands. Divide the dough into 24 pcs and roll the dough into balls. 7. Flatten each dough into a disk and then stuff it with velveeta cheese then seal the dough. Then roll the dough in breadcrumbs. 8. Place 12 pcs pandesal into pam sprayed baking pan. Repeat with the remaining pandesal in a second baking pan. Lightly cover the pandesals with a kitchen towel for 60-90 minutes. 9. Preheat the oven at 350. 10. Remove the kitchen towel, and bake the pandesals for 23 minutes. enjoy!
